Socialphotos vs Sauce: compare gallery pricing and usage
Updated · By the Socialphotos team
We build Socialphotos. Competitor details are based on public documentation checked September 14, 2026, rather than a hands-on test. Prices shown are USD monthly subscriptions; annual offers and current terms may differ.
For a store building a large customer-content library, the subscription price is only one part of the comparison. Check what happens when you publish more media or more shoppers view your galleries.
Read the allowances beside the price
Sauce lists Essentials at $50/month, with 20,000 monthly gallery impressions, $2,500 in monthly Sauce sales, and 50 UGC photos/videos. Its listing includes shoppable media and product-page galleries, and states extra usage charges. Review Sauce's pricing and allowances.
Confirm how each allowance is measured and how additional charges apply to your store. Do not assume the base subscription is the total bill, or that every allowance resets on the same basis.
How Socialphotos prices content
Socialphotos gates plans by features rather than the amount of customer content. Basic is $19/month for page photo galleries. Advanced is $35/month with product tags and product-page galleries. Premium is $55/month with unlimited photos and videos. All paid plans include unlimited photos. See the complete Socialphotos plans.
For a store adding videos regularly, Premium offers a predictable subscription for those gallery features. That does not establish feature parity with Sauce or mean Socialphotos will be the better choice for every store.
Work out what your store will actually use
Make a small worksheet before trialing either app. Record your current library size, how much new content you expect to add, and the gallery placements you intend to publish. Use your own traffic as a starting point, then ask the vendor how it translates into their usage measurement.
Consider an activewear shop with a growing archive of outfit photos and product videos. It may want to keep older items available while adding seasonal content. The relevant question is what happens to its bill and workflow as that archive grows, not just the cost of launching the first six tiles.
Also test collection. Socialphotos accepts customer submissions through gallery upload buttons and shareable Upload Pages, alongside Instagram and your own uploaded files. See the four content sources. Recreate the way customers currently send you content and check what it takes to turn a submission into a published, tagged item.
Frequently asked questions
Does unlimited content mean every Socialphotos feature is in Basic?
No. Basic and Advanced display photos. Product tags and product-page galleries start with Advanced; video display requires Premium. Content allowances and feature access are separate decisions.
Can I compare Sauce's $50 plan directly with Socialphotos' $55 plan?
Use those prices as a starting point, then compare included features and expected usage. Ask Sauce to confirm the total for your scenario before deciding on cost alone.
What should I verify in the trial?
Publish representative photos and videos, open the gallery on mobile, and follow a product link. Then add new content and check the publishing workflow. A trial should show both what shoppers experience and what your team will maintain.
